The Master's Secures 15th Consecutive GSAC Men’s Cross Country Championship

The Master’s men’s cross country team clinched their 15th consecutive GSAC title at the GSAC Men's Cross Country Championship held in Santa Clarita, Calif. Dominating the field, The Master’s accumulated 21 points, reflecting a commanding performance over their closest competitor, Embry-Riddle, who finished with 38 points.

Jack Anderson led the charge for The Master's, finishing first with a remarkable time of 24:00.4 in the 8-kilometer race. He was closely followed by teammates Connor Ybarra, Nate Day, Isaiah Fastrup, Hunter Romine, Cedar Collins, Andrew Cross, Emmanuel De Leon, and Jacob Niednagel, who all placed within the top 15, securing their spots on the All-Conference team. This overwhelming presence in the top ranks underscored The Master’s superiority in the event.

In placing second as a team, Embry-Riddle placed five on the all-conference team. Demetris Love Jr. placed second in 24:17.0 with Ben Smith, Dillon Eisner, Nathan Kutscher, and Nicholas Logan also scoring points for the Eagles.

The victory was not just a testament to The Master's depth and talent, but also a pivotal moment as it secured them a spot at the NAIA National Championship, scheduled for November 22, in Columbia, Mo. This performance sets a high bar for the national competition, showcasing The Master's as a formidable contender in collegiate cross country.
