The GSAC has a pair of programs ranked in the latest edition of the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Rating, which was released by the national office on Thursday. The Master’s led the duo, coming in at No. 2, while Embry-Riddle is No. 20 in the new ratings.
This is the second consecutive poll in which The Masters has held the No. 2 position after starting the season at No. 6 in the preseason poll. The Mustangs' last race saw them win the Larry Young Invitational, which featured a field of 21 teams.
Embry-Riddle dropped one spot in this second regular season edition of the ratings after being No. 19 in the first two ratings. The Eagles last raced on Sept. 7 when they won the ERAU Invitational.
Five GSAC programs will be in action on Saturday, including The Master’s and Embry-Riddle, at The Master's XC Invitational in Santa Clarita, Calif.
