The 2025 GSAC Beach Volleyball All-Conference Team and award winners were released by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon. OUAZ claimed all three awards, including Summer Hanks and Amey Rainaud winning Pair of the Year. Julianne Hemphill was named the Freshman of the Year while OUAZ coach Viri Serrano was voted Coach of the Year.
The Master’s led all programs with five players named to the All-Conference squad. OUAZ followed with four, while Arizona Christian, Benedictine Mesa, and Hope International each had two.
GSAC coaches vote on the awards and All-Conference Team, which consists of the top 15 players in the conference.
Hanks and Rainaud spent the majority of the season as the No. 1 pair for the Spirit and finished with a 7-2 record. They closed the regular season with five consecutive wins, helping OUAZ to an undefeated record during conference play.
Hemphill played with a variety of partners while in the lineup for OUAZ. She missed some time with an injury, but recorded four wins while in the Spirit lineup.
In her first season as head coach at OUAZ, Serrano guided the Spirit to a 12-0 record in GSAC play to clinch the top seed for the conference tournament. The Spirit has been ranked No. 1 in the NAIA poll all season.
