ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -- Embry-Riddle maintained its No. 3 national ranking, while The Master’s received votes in the first regular-season STADIONIC NAIA Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 poll released Wednesday.

The Eagles were the only team in the top 25 to remain in the same position as the preseason poll. Cumberlands (Ky.) moved into the No. 1 spot, followed by Keiser (Fla.) at No. 2. Marian (Ind.) and Indiana Wesleyan completed the top five.

Embry-Riddle improved to 2-0 with a pair of convincing victories since the preseason rankings were released. The Eagles opened their season with a 3-1 road victory over then-No. 20 Cumberland (Tenn.) on Aug. 22 before earning a 4-0 shutout against Oregon Tech on Aug. 30.

The Eagles extended their active streak to 38 consecutive polls ranked in the top 25, dating to Sept. 14, 2022. Embry-Riddle has appeared in 96 national polls overall and matched its program-record ranking of No. 3 for the third time.

The Master’s moved from No. 25 in the preseason poll to the receiving-votes category. The Mustangs were one of 15 teams receiving votes outside the top 25.

The next STADIONIC NAIA Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Top 25 poll will be released Wednesday, Sept. 16.
