The GSAC has announced its 2025–26 Spring Sports Scholar-Athletes, honoring 311 student-athletes across the conference’s spring championship sports. The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated excellence both academically and athletically throughout the academic year while competing in GSAC spring sports.

To be eligible for selection, nominees must meet GSAC academic standards, which include being a sophomore or above in academic standing, maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale—without rounding—and satisfying enrollment requirements. Student-athletes must have completed two full semesters at their current institution if they began as non-transfers, or one full year of attendance if they enrolled as transfer students. Each institution verifies eligibility according to its internal GPA calculation policies prior to nomination.

This year’s Scholar-Athlete class featured representation from all 10 GSAC full-member institutions along with two affiliate members, continuing the conference’s strong tradition of academic success across its spring sports. Arizona Christian University led all institutions with 61 honorees, followed by OUAZ with 49 and The Master's University with 47. Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University added 36 selections, while Benedictine University Mesa contributed 25 and Park University Gilbert totaled 24. Hope International University recorded 23 honorees, followed by La Sierra University and Soka University with 18 each. Affiliate members Lewis-Clark State College and College of Idaho added five and four selections, respectively, while Life Pacific University rounded out the list with one honoree.

Recognition extended across 12 spring sports, with baseball leading the way with 59 Scholar-Athletes. Men’s track & field followed with 41 selections, while men’s golf added 35 and women’s track & field contributed 29 honorees. Softball accounted for 28 selections, beach volleyball had 24, and men’s volleyball added 22. Women’s golf totaled 20 honorees, men’s tennis added 18, and women’s tennis contributed 14. Men’s baseball accounted for 11 additional selections, while women’s beach volleyball and flag football rounded out the list with six and four honorees, respectively.

Academically, the group continued to demonstrate a high standard of achievement. Seniors led the way with 130 selections, followed by 86 juniors and 71 sophomores. An additional 24 graduate students earned recognition, reflecting the experience and leadership present throughout the conference’s spring sports programs.

Among all recipients, 45 student-athletes earned a perfect 4.00 GPA, while 99 achieved a GPA of 3.90 or higher, underscoring the conference’s continued commitment to academic excellence.
