The GSAC has announced the 2026 Baseball All-Conference Team, along with its major award winners and Gold Glove Team, recognizing the top performers from another highly competitive season across the conference. Presented by Under Armour, the annual honors celebrate excellence at the plate, on the mound and in the field.
Headlining this year’s honorees is Isaiah Morales of The Master's, named GSAC Player of the Year after turning in one of the conference’s most balanced offensive seasons. Morales led the GSAC in batting average at .404 while also pacing the conference in hits and ranking among league leaders in RBI, total bases and home runs, serving as the centerpiece of a potent Mustangs lineup.
Pitcher of the Year honors went to Josh Landry of Hope International after a strong senior campaign. Landry finished 9-3 with a 2.16 ERA, led the GSAC in strikeouts and wins, and anchored a Royals staff that helped deliver Hope International its third straight conference regular season title.
Isaiah Lane of Hope International was selected Newcomer of the Year after making an immediate impact in his first GSAC season, batting .386 while ranking among conference leaders in on-base percentage, slugging percentage and stolen bases.
Freshman of the Year honors went to Camden Knutson of OUAZ after an impressive rookie season in which he hit .397 and finished among the GSAC leaders in hits, runs and doubles.
After guiding Hope International to a 22-6 conference record and a third consecutive GSAC regular season championship, Larry Mahoney earned Coach of the Year honors.
The 2026 All-Conference Team reflects the depth and balance of the league, with six institutions represented among the 20 honorees. OUAZ led the way with five selections, while Benedictine Mesa and Hope International each placed four players on the team. The Master's added three selections, while Arizona Christian and Embry-Riddle each had two representatives. The squad showcases elite talent across every position, highlighted by five pitchers and a relief specialist, while Morales, Landry, Lane and Knutson added major awards to their all-conference recognition.
The 2026 GSAC Gold Glove Team recognizes the conference’s premier defensive players, with nine honorees spanning every position on the diamond. Hope International led all programs with three selections, while Benedictine Mesa and OUAZ each earned two. Landry and Lane doubled as major award winners and Gold Glove selections, while Joel Esparza, Evan Mendoza and Ty Beck were recognized on both the All-Conference and Gold Glove teams, underscoring their all-around impact.
Alongside the major awards, the All-Conference Team and Gold Glove selections showcase the depth of talent spread throughout the league and underscore the strength and parity of GSAC baseball.
