Prescott, Ariz.- On Friday, Arizona Christian split with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical to claim three of four games over the Eagles in the final GSAC series of the season.  With the win in the day cap, the Firestorm improved their GSAC record to 20-4- producing their best win total ever in GSAC play.

Inside Game One

• The Eagles put the first four runs on the board
• McCracken launched her third home run of the season to get ACU started
• Four batters later, Landeros delivered Avery Slater across the dish
• Two innings later, Landeros came through again with a double to score McKenna MIller and Morgan Bradford and force a 4-4 tie
• In the extra inning, ACU could plate a run allowing ERAU to walk it off in the bottom of the frame

Inside Game Two

• Rachel Martin walked to begin game two, Herrera doubled her home, and Grubb singled home Herrera
• ERAU answered with a two spot in the bottom of the first including the first of two home runs by Leah Salas
• Herrera walked with the bases loaded for a 3-2 ACU edge in the second
• Before the second was over, Embry-Riddle had plated five runs for a 7-3 advantage
• ACU crept with a run at 7-6 after a three run bomb from Bradford
• In the fourth, Grubb delivered the game tying run in Elena Garcia, Lauko plated the game winner
• Fast forward to the seventh, and the Firestorm added an insurance run when Bradford singled home Bea Barrett
• In next week's GSAC tournament, ACU will be the top seed and ERAU the four seed which means they will meet again in four days in Irvine.

Up Next
On Saturday, the Firestorm will be the only GSAC team playing as they host Nelson (AZ) for a Senior Day double header.  First pitch is set for 11:00 am.  The three ACU seniors will be honored before the game about 10:35.
