Glendale, Ariz. –  Arizona Christian leaned on dominant pitching and a late offensive surge in the eighth inning, as the Firestorm defeated Embry-Riddle, 6-0 to get the series sweep and stay undefeated in conference play. Tyson Kilbreath delivered another strong outing on the mound, moving to 3-0 after tossing seven scoreless innings. The right-hander scattered five hits, struck out nine, and walked just one while keeping Embry-Riddle off balance all afternoon. Kilbreath was efficient early and dominant late, retiring the final six batters he faced. • That slim margin held for much of the game thanks to ACU's pitching and defense, which played error-free baseball and turned routine chances into quick outs.
  • Arizona Christian finally created separation in the eighth inning, erupting for five runs. Andrew Ivy crossed the plate on a wild pitch to make it 2-0 before Luke Zuromski lifted a sacrifice fly to extend the lead. Kaden Clute followed with an RBI single to right, and Aaron Newcomb delivered the decisive blow with a two-run single to left, pushing the advantage to 6-0.
  • The Firestorm offense tallied 12 hits on the afternoon. Noah Manasan paced the lineup with two hits, including a double, while Zuromski and Gavin Murphy each collected two hits. Newcomb finished with two RBIs, and Clute added one in the eighth-inning rally.
