The 2026 GSAC Women’s Basketball Championship begins on Saturday with semifinal matchups hosted at campus sites in Fullerton and Santa Clarita. The conference’s top four seeds remain alive in the postseason, with winners advancing to the championship game on Tuesday, March 3, at the home site of the highest remaining seed.

Game 1 – No. 4 Benedictine Mesa at No. 1 Hope International

Fullerton, California
Top-seeded Hope International enters the semifinals after claiming the GSAC regular-season championship for the first time in program history and sweeping the season series against Benedictine Mesa, including a 70-62 victory in Fullerton on Jan. 10.
Hope International (22-4, 15-1 GSAC) has combined balanced scoring with consistent defense throughout the season, averaging 70.0 points per game while limiting opponents to 58.5 points per contest. Forward Amira Austin leads the Royals with 14.3 points and 10.5 rebounds per game, while Aliyah Gonzalez and Nicole Chuang provide additional scoring and perimeter production in one of the conference’s most complete lineups.
Benedictine Mesa (14-9, 9-7 GSAC) advances as the fourth seed behind an aggressive defensive approach that ranks among the conference leaders in steals and forced turnovers. Guard Olivia Arvallo averages 14.0 points per game, while Alannah Northam adds interior scoring and rebounding presence for the Redhawks.
The Redhawks pushed the Royals to a one-point decision in their second meeting of the season, setting the stage for another competitive postseason matchup.
Game 2 – No. 3 Arizona Christian at No. 2 The Master’s

Santa Clarita, California
The second semifinal features a rematch between Arizona Christian and The Master’s, with the Mustangs sweeping the regular-season series, including a 77-48 victory in Santa Clarita on Feb. 15.
The Master’s (18-7, 14-2 GSAC) enters postseason play with one of the conference’s top defensive units, allowing just 54.1 points per game while posting a +19.2 scoring margin. Guard Chloe Auble leads the Mustangs at 15.6 points per game, while Allie Miller and Alli VanKooten provide consistent scoring and rebounding production across the lineup.
Arizona Christian (12-16, 10-6 GSAC) is led by conference standout Emily Till, who averages 19.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. The Firestorm rely on their interior presence and experience as they look to reverse the regular-season results and advance to the championship game.
Championship Outlook
Saturday’s semifinal winners advance to the GSAC Women’s Basketball Championship Game on Tuesday, March 3, hosted by the highest remaining seed. The tournament champion earns the conference’s automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship.
