Athletic Solutions proudly sponsors this week’s conference honors, recognizing outstanding performances across the GSAC. Several athletes delivered game-changing efforts on both ends of the floor, leading their teams to key conference victories through elite scoring, defensive dominance, and all-around play.
Avery Jackson – The Master’s (Sr., G)
Avery Jackson delivered one of the most impressive offensive weeks in the GSAC, powering The Master’s to a pair of critical conference road wins. The senior guard averaged 32 points per game while shooting an efficient 52.8 percent from the field, carrying the Mustangs’ offense against two ranked opponents. His scoring consistency was evident across both contests, as he attacked off the dribble, finished through contact, and knocked down timely perimeter shots to keep TMU in control.
Jackson’s signature moment came at OUAZ, where his off-balance layup with eight seconds remaining sealed a dramatic 80–79 victory. Two nights later, he elevated his play even further, pouring in a career-high 38 points against No. 10 Arizona Christian, going 10-for-18 from the field and a perfect 14-for-17 at the free-throw line. Beyond scoring, Jackson also contributed on the glass, averaging 10.5 rebounds over the two games, underscoring his all-around impact and leadership during a defining stretch of conference play.
Eric Blackwell – Benedictine Mesa (Sr., G)
Eric Blackwell was a steady and efficient presence for Benedictine Mesa, contributing on both ends of the floor during the Redhawks’ two conference victories. Offensively, the senior guard was highly effective, averaging 14.5 points per game while shooting an outstanding 75 percent from the field and 75 percent from three-point range. His 21-point outing against Life Pacific showcased his shooting touch, as he knocked down five triples to help BMU secure a comfortable win.
Blackwell’s impact extended beyond scoring, particularly on the defensive glass. He led the team with 10 defensive rebounds against Life Pacific and followed that performance with five rebounds against OUAZ, three of which came on the defensive end. His ability to rebound from the guard position provided valuable second-chance prevention and helped Benedictine Mesa control tempo in tight moments, most notably in the Redhawks’ narrow 76–74 victory over OUAZ.
Chloe Auble – The Master’s (Jr., G/F)
Chloe Auble continued to establish herself as one of the premier perimeter threats in the GSAC, averaging 19.5 points per game in The Master’s two conference wins. The junior guard-forward was lethal from beyond the arc, knocking down 10 three-pointers on 45.5 percent shooting, stretching defenses and opening up the floor for the Lady Mustangs’ high-powered offense. Her scoring consistency was a major factor in TMU’s dominant road performances.
Auble’s week further solidified her place atop the conference leaderboard, as she currently ranks No. 1 in the GSAC in both three-pointers made per game (3.8) and three-point percentage (39.2). In addition to her shooting, she contributed across the stat sheet, averaging six rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. Her ability to impact the game in multiple ways continues to drive The Master’s status as the GSAC’s leading scoring team.
Alli VanKooten – The Master’s (Jr., C)
Alli VanKooten anchored The Master’s defense with a dominant presence in the paint, averaging 11.5 rebounds per game, including 18 defensive boards, during two conference victories. Her physicality and positioning allowed the Lady Mustangs to control the interior, limiting second-chance opportunities and setting the tone defensively. VanKooten also chipped in offensively, averaging 10 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field.
Defensively, VanKooten was nothing short of elite. She recorded five blocks and four steals over the two games, increasing her conference-leading block total to 31, which is 10 more than the next closest player in the GSAC. Her rim protection and defensive instincts consistently altered opposing game plans, making her a cornerstone of The Master’s success and one of the most impactful defensive players in the conference.
