The GSAC has officially announced its 2025 All-Conference selections, recognizing the top performers in softball across the conference. Leading the honors, Leah Salas of Embry-Riddle earned Player of the Year, capping off a stellar season. Vanessa Brink, also from Embry-Riddle, claimed Pitcher of the Year, showcasing dominance in the circle throughout the season. Alexis Jimenez of OUAZ and Kaitlyn Maaske of Hope International shared Co-Freshmen of the Year honors, highlighting their immediate impact on the field. Coach of the Year was awarded to TJ Stower of Park Gilbert, whose leadership propelled his team to the GSAC Tournament in the team’s first season in the league.
In addition to these awards, the All-Conference team featured a strong lineup of players from all six programs. Hope International led all teams with six selections, with Embry-Riddle placing five on the squad.
The 2025 GSAC Softball Gold Glove Team was also revealed, showcasing the league’s best defensive players.
Salas ended the regular season as the GSAC leader with a .505 batting average and nine home runs.
Brink is the conference leader with 17 wins and a 1.68 ERA. She is also tops in the GSAC with 114 strikeouts.
Jimenez completed her freshman campaign batting .407 with 59 hits and 47 RBIs. Maaske finished her first regular season with a 16-3 record and 1.84 ERA.
Stower guided the Buccaneers into the GSAC Tournament to cap the team’s first season in the GSAC.
The GSAC All-Conference and Gold Glove teams are voted on and selected by the GSAC Softball coaches.
