The Firestorm Dominate The Chargers

Glendale, Ariz. – ACU delivered an offensive explosion, overwhelming Briar Cliff in a commanding 20-3 victory. A relentless second-inning rally set the tone as the Firestorm plated eight runs, never looking back en route to their dominant performance. Andrew Ivy led the charge, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, including a key bases-clearing hit in the second. Kimo Fukofuka also contributed heavily, tallying three hits and three RBI. The Firestorm's balanced lineup saw contributions across the board, with Trey Tarver, Kane Kiaunis, and Jeremiah De La Trinidad each driving in multiple runs. On the mound, Arizona Christian's pitching staff was stellar, limiting Briar Cliff to just three late-game runs while racking up 16 strikeouts. Frank Wierman earned the win, setting the tone with strong early innings before the bullpen closed things out. Arizona Christian's bats erupted once more in the seventh inning, adding six more runs to put the game completely out of reach.
