The Great Southwest Athletic Conference announced its 2025 GSAC Women’s Volleyball All-Conference Team and award winners presented by Under Armour, honoring the league’s top performers following another competitive season across the Southwest.

Regular-season champion The Master’s University dominated the postseason honors, sweeping four of the five major player awards after finishing 14-2 in GSAC play and 21-3 overall. Life Pacific University claimed the fifth player award, while Arizona Christian and OUAZ shared Coach of the Year honors.

The Knoxville, Tenn., native is second in the GSAC in kills per set (3.46), sixth in hitting percentage (.261), and third in points per set (3.8), while adding 3.4 digs per set for the Mustangs, who led the GSAC in kills and hitting percentage.

Sophomore Kate Wagner earned Setter of the Year, directing a TMU attack that ranked among the NAIA’s most efficient. Wagner led the GSAC in both assists (858) and assists per set (9.75), while adding 210 digs and 39 total blocks.

The Sandy, Ore., native provided stability in the back row and was a key voice on the floor for the Mustangs.

The Tampa, Fla., product added 141 digs and 29 blocks, emerging as a key offensive option in her first collegiate season.

The lone non-Mustang among the major award winners was Life Pacific University’s Marlayina Masani, who earned GSAC Newcomer of the Year. The junior setter from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, ranked 13th in assists (312) and 13th in assists per set (4.00), while adding 186 digs and 19 service aces to help the Warriors post an 11-5 GSAC record.

Co-Coach of the Year honors went to Tiger Shelton of Arizona Christian and Olivia Afusia of OUA). In his first season in Glendale, Shelton guided the Firestorm to an 18-7 overall record and 13-3 GSAC finish. The veteran coach previously earned GSAC Coach of the Year honors in 2022 while leading Jessup University. Afusia, meanwhile, continued to elevate OUAZ as one of the league’s most consistent programs, steering the Spirit to a 22-4 overall mark and matching 13-3 GSAC record.

The 2025 All-Conference Team featured 16 of the league’s best, highlighted by repeat honorees Lauren Wamsley of OUAZ and Hale of The Master’s, both earning their second consecutive All-GSAC selections. The group showcased the skill, balance, and depth that defined another memorable season of GSAC volleyball.

The 2025 GSAC Women’s Volleyball postseason awards, presented by Under Armour, recognize not only statistical excellence but also the leadership, consistency, and sportsmanship that continue to elevate the conference among the NAIA’s premier leagues.
