It was a great team effort all around to get the win over the Red Hawks. ACU will head into Friday's game with a record of 1-0 after today's strong start. Beckworth singled to center field and Marcus Sanders' pitch ran for him. In the same inning, Ivy singled to left field, advancing Sanders to second. Fukofuka gets hit by a pitch, Ivy advances to second, and Sanders advances to third. With bases loaded, Tarver doubled down the right field line, driving in both Ivy and Sanders. Vielguth also got a single to left field, bringing in both Tarver and Fukofuka, and earning 2 RBI in the bottom of the seventh inning.
