Double First To Open Season

Queen Creek, Ariz. - On Monday and Tuesday, Arizona Christian Men's Golf enjoyed their time at the Las Colinas Golf Club as they claimed first as a team and Jackson Holman carded the lowest scores of the tournament for the individual win.  The Firestorm dropped their team score in every round which included shedding ten strokes between the second and third rounds in a field made up of all NAIA schools in Arizona.

Ryan Heinz and Nicholas Goldsberry both claimed top ten finishes as well.  In total, ten Firestorm were on course as ACU was one of two schools to field a B team.

The Firestorm will return to action on Monday when they play locally in the OUAZ Fall Invitational.  Their second tournament of the season will be played at the Sterling Golf Course in Surprise.
