The 2024 GSAC Baseball All-Conference and Gold Glove teams were announced Sunday morning. Headlining the team is GSAC Player of the Year, Trey Furrey from Jessup University and GSAC Pitcher of the Year, Eli Elliott from Arizona Christian University.  The GSAC Freshman of the Year is Ryan Shalkevich from The Master's University.  The Coach of the Year is Larry Mahoney from Hope International University.

Furrey, a senior for the Warriors, led the GSAC with a .510 batting average during the 2024 regular season.  Furrey also led the league in hits, slugging percentage and on base percentage.

Elliott was the ace on staff for the Firestorm this year going 6-3 with a 2.55 ERA.  His ERA was best in the GSAC and he finished second with 92 strikeouts in 13 starts.

Ryan Shalkevich was a perfect 4-0 on the season in his freshman campaign for the Mustangs while carrying a 4.10 ERA.

This is the second time in the last three seasons that Larry Mahoney has been named the GSAC Coach of the Year.  Mahoney led his Royals to an impressive 19-4 conference record and currently has HIU sitting at 8th in the NAIA Coaches' Poll.
