The 2024 GSAC Men’s and Women's Tennis All-Conference teams were announced Monday morning and consists of the top 10 players in the conference as voted upon by the coaches.
Women's All-Conference Team
The women's team is headlined by Player of the Year, Valentina Urelli from Menlo College. The senior from Italy has been fantastic as the top Oak who has been unstoppable with 16 wins in singles play this year including seven straight singles victories. Urelli has won six straight doubles matches as well as she enters the GSAC Tournament this week.
Livia Harper of Menlo College was selected as the Freshman of the Year. The Oaks have been led by their top two seniors but Harper has been key for the middle of the lineup this season and the future looks bright for Menlo.
Phil Carlisle of Arizona Christian was chosen by his peers as the GSAC Coach of the Year after the Firestorm ended conference play with a 4-2 record. This is the first time Carlisle has been awarded Women's Tennis Coach of the Year honors in his four years at ACU. Carlisle had three women's players named to the All-GSAC team this season which was tied for the most in the conference with Westcliff.

Men's All-Conference Team
The men's team is headlined by Player of the Year, Felix Veyhle from Westcliff University. Veyhle, a senior from Germany was the #1 singles player from the Warriors this season. Veyhle and the Warriors did not let their GSAC opponents score a single point in any conference matches in 2024.
Robin Mcalpine of Menlo College was selected as the Freshman of the Year. Mcalpine went on to put together an outstanding individual run through conference play which included a six match win streak as an individual! He was also highly impactful in doubles play alongside fellow underclassman Ruben Russwurm.
Ross Duncun of Westcliff was chosen by his peers as GSAC Coach of the Year after the Warriors went a perfect 6-0 in conference play. Duncan currently has the Warriors ranked 5th in the NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Poll and they will be the GSAC Tournament favorites this week as the #1 overall seed in the championship.
