Isaiah Howard delivered a strong all-around offensive week for Benedictine Mesa, averaging 15.5 points per game while guiding the Redhawks to two wins. His best performance came against No. 15 Carroll, where the junior guard exploded for 23 points on highly efficient shooting, connecting on 9-of-13 attempts from the field and 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Howard’s scoring ability was on full display as he attacked from all three levels and consistently kept pressure on the defense.
What set Howard apart was his ability to balance scoring with playmaking. Against Carroll, he dished out 10 assists, repeatedly creating quality looks for his teammates and keeping the offense flowing. Over the two-game stretch, he averaged six assists per game, showing his value as a complete offensive guard. His combination of scoring efficiency and unselfish distribution earned him Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week honors.
