Aidan Doherty Award Player of the Week Week Of 11/7/2022 Sport Men's Soccer School Vanguard Year Sophomore Position Forward Hometown Huntington Beach, CA High School Doherty scored the game-winning goal in the 93rd minute as Vanguard defeated Menlo, 2-1, in the first round of the GSAC Tournament. Doherty beat his defender to a ball and slotted a shot past the Oaks goalkeeper in the first overtime. It was his fifth goal of the season. He took three shots, including two on goal for the match.
