Allie Puente Award Pitcher of the Week Week Of 2/20/2023 Sport Softball School Hope International Year Junior Position Pitcher Hometown Fresno, CA High School Puente, the Royals all time strikeouts leader, was on fire last week leading the Royals to two dominant victories over No. 19 Eastern Oregon and Northwest. In the first game Puente threw a complete game shutout over seven innings while allowing just three hits and striking out 13. Then in the second game of the weekend against Northwest she was even better throwing another complete game allowing just one hit and one walk over seven innings while striking out 16. The junior leads the Royals and is second in the GSAC with an ERA of 0.52 on the season.
