In an impressive display of skill and determination, Quincy Phillips of The Master's University has been named the GSAC Offensive Player of the Week for his outstanding performances in the men’s basketball games this week.
Phillips, a freshman guard, played a pivotal role in securing two vital wins for The Master's in the GSAC. Over the course of the week, he averaged 25.0 minutes per game, showcasing his scoring ability by netting a career-high 31 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in an exceptional performance against Embry-Riddle. His remarkable week continued against Life Pacific, where he efficiently scored by hitting 7-of-10 from the field, including a solid 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Phillips' stellar shooting ensured a week-long average of over 53% from the field, a significant statistic that highlights his scoring efficiency and ability to perform under pressure.
