Russell was a very important part of OUAZ securing a spot in the GSAC Tournament, as she had three home runs in four games. Russell drove in the game-winning runs in both contests against #14 Hope International on Saturday, hitting a two-run home run in a Game 1, 2-0 victory; then hit a two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning in the day's final contest in an 8-6 win.
