In the first game against Bethesda he scored the third goal of the game as the Royals beat Bethesda 7-0. Then in the second game against Antelope Valley he scored two goals including the game winner and assisted on the opening goal in a 3-1 win. Lopez leads the GSAC in goals with 7 and points with 23. He is also tied for first in assists and is second in game-winning goals.
