Sam Lorge Award Player of the Week Week Of 4/17/2023 Sport Softball School Jessup Year Junior Position Utility Hometown Manteca, CA High School Sierra High School Sam Lorge launched her GSAC-leading 9th and 10th home runs of the season this weekend, both being walk-off shots to end Jessup's two victories in the fifth inning. Her two-run bomb ended Jessup's 9-0 victory over Hope International, but she topped that with a grand slam to end Jessup's 11-2 victory against Vanguard. Lorge finished the weekend batting .545 as she went 6-for-11 at the dish, adding a .643 OBP. Lorge drove in six runs and even stole two bases.
