For the week, he shot 13-for-21 (.619) from the field, including 3-for-6 (.500) from 3-point range. The senior scored 25 points, added 6 steals, 5 assists and 4 rebounds to lead Biola to an 85-69 win at Azusa Pacific. King then closed out the week with 11 points, adding 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 rebounds as Biola defeated San Diego Christian and improved its winning streak to 15-0 on the season and to 5-0 in GSAC play.

Junior Reggie Owens registered 30 points (15.0 ppg), 14 rebounds (7.0 rpg) and 3 assists as Azusa Pacific won both of its GSAC games last week. For the week, he shot 9-for-18 (.500) from the field and 12-for-15 (.800) at the free throw line. Owens scored the game’s final 6 points in the last 40 seconds, including 2 free throws with 0.9 seconds left, to lift Azusa Pacific to a 75-73 victory at No. 7 and defending GSAC champion Fresno Pacific. The center came off the bench to score all 10 of his points in the second half. Against Vanguard, he scored a team-high 20 points which included the go-ahead basket with 31 seconds left in the game. Again Owens came off the bench and scored 13 points in the second half to lead Azusa Pacific back from a 13-point deficit.

In the win over The Master’s, Hampton notched a double-double, scoring 18 points and adding 14 rebounds. He shot 9-of-11 to score 19 points and had 9 rebounds in the win at California Baptist.

Mutton scored 23 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in the Hawks’ upset of No. 2-ranked Concordia, handing the Eagles their first loss of the season. He scored 11 points and had 3 rebounds in the loss at No. 22 Westmont.
