      • Tabitha Henken – Point Loma Nazarene
      • Sophomore – 6-3 – Outside Hitter – Carlsbad, Calif.
      • Sophomore Tabitha Henken led NAIA No. 8-ranked Point Loma Nazarene to 5 wins last week at the Asics-Crowne Plaza Labor Day Tournament, including wins over No. 17 Indiana Tech and No. 13 Olivet Nazarene IL. For the week, she had 86 kills (4.78 k/g), 44 digs (2.44 d/g), 7 aces and 5 assist blocks. She had double-figure kills in each match including 25 in a 5-setter against Carroll MT and 21 against Great Falls MT. Henken was selected as the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week.

      • Junior – 6-1 – Opposite Hitter – Fountain Valley, Calif.
      • Junior Amanda Ridens recorded 34 kills (4.25 k/g), 6 aces, and 2 assist blocks as No. 2-ranked Concordia won both of its conference matches last week and opened the season with a 15-match winning streak. She had 17 kills in each 4-game win over Vanguard and No. 17 Biola.

      • Senior – 6-2 – Outside Hitter – Turlock, Calif.
      • Senior Jill Baker averaged 5.5 kills and 3.25 digs per game and had 9 assists blocks as No. 10-ranked Azusa Pacific won both of its conference matches last week. In the sweep of San Diego Christian, she had 18 kills and 16 digs. Baker then registered a season-high 26 kills with 10 digs and 4 assists blocks to lead Azusa Pacific to a 5-set road win at No. 7 Point Loma Nazarene.

      • Sophomore – 6-1 – Outside Hitter – Nirta, Slovakia
      • Sophomore outside hitter Martina Gregusova registered 31 kills (5.1 k/g) with a .426 hitting percentage, 11 digs, an ace and a solo block as top-ranked Fresno Pacific swept both of its GSAC matches. In the Sunbirds’ victory at No. 2 Concordia, Gregusova totaled 25 kills for an impressive 8.3 kills per game with a .468 hitting percentage. In limited action, she had 6 kills in the Sunbirds’ win over Hope International. In a 5-game exhibition win against NCAA Division I Fresno State, she recorded 17 kills and 3 aces. (Exhibition stats not included for player of the week consideration). Gregusova was named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week.

      • Sophomore – 5-10 – Outside Hitter – Fair Oaks, Calif.
      • Senior Kelsey Wirt averaged 5.43 kills and 3.86 digs per game as Vanguard won both of its GSAC matches last week against ranked teams. Wirt hammered 25 kills and picked up 16 digs in No. 25-ranked Vanguard’s 3-1 upset of No. 17 Biola. She added 13 kills and 11 more digs in the Lions’ 3-0 take-down of No. 24 Westmont, giving the Lions 3 upset victories out of their last 4 matches.

      • Sophomore – 6-2 – Opposite Hitter – Nanjing, China
      • Senior Fei Shi tallied 30 kills (4.29 k/g) and 28 digs (4.0 d/g) in California Baptist’s 2 GSAC wins last week and have sole possession of second place. The opposite hitter posted 2 season-highs with 22 kills and 18 digs against No. 3 Concordia in a 3-1 win. It was her tenth double-double of the season. She also had 3 aces against the Eagles and 2 at Hope International. Fei Shi was named the NAIA Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week.

      • Tavea Hampton paced No. 14-ranked Biola to a pair of GSAC victories with a total of 26 kills and 13 blocks (1 solo) last week. For the week, she averaged 3.25 kills per game with a .489 hitting percentage. The junior middle blocker had 16 kills and 7 blocks in Biola’s sweep over Hope International, then followed that with 10 kills and 6 blocks in the Eagles’ 5-game upset victory at No. 3 Concordia.

      • Junior Amber Ridens had 32 kills (4.57 k/g), 6 assist blocks, and 2 aces as Concordia won both its conference matches last week. She had 11 kills in a 3-game sweep of Hope International. The team leader with 3.19 kills per game throughout the year, totaled 21 kills against Westmont, including 7 kills in game 4, as the Eagles held on for the 3-1 victory.

      • Senior Stephanie Dunn posted a .429 attack percentage to help lead the Warriors to 2 road victories last week. She had 12 kills and 5 blocks (1 solo) in the 3-game sweep at No. 14-ranked Point Loma Nazarene. She then had 7 kills and 3 assist blocks at San Diego Christian.

      • Junior Keke Wang led No. 1-ranked Fresno Pacific to wins in both of its GSAC games last week with 29 kills (3.2 k/g) with a .418 hitting percentage, 10 blocks (2 solo) and 4 digs. The middle blocker had 18 kills in the 4-game match against No. 5 Azusa Pacific and 11 kills and 8 blocks (1 solo) in the 5-game match at No. 2 California Baptist. Fresno Pacific clinched the GSAC Championship for the tenth consecutive year.
