Azusa Pacific swept all 4 conference titles in the 2008 GSAC Cross Country Championship Meets. The Cougars were the first school in GSAC history to claim both the men’s and women’s team and individual titles. Sophomore Jacky Kipwambok earned the women’s individual title in the 5K run, while senior Aron Rono won his GSAC-record third consecutive individual title in the 8K men’s race. Azusa Pacific Coach Preston Grey is the GSAC Women’s Cross Country Coach of the Year and Fresno Pacific Coach Eric Schwab is the GSAC Men’s Cross Country Coach of the Year.
