Junior guard Tyler Mutton averaged 17 points and 4 rebounds as San Deigo Christian split its GSAC games against Top-25 teams. For the week, he made 10 field goals, including 6 from 3-point range, and was 8-for-9 at the charity stripe. Mutton scored 23 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in the Hawks’ upset of No. 2-ranked Concordia, handing the Eagles their first loss of the season. He scored 11 points and had 3 rebounds in the loss at No. 22 Westmont.
