Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
Amanda Couch ~ Vanguard
Freshman ~ 5-4 ~ Midfielder ~ Sacramento, Calif.
Freshman midfielder Amanda Couch headed in the golden goal for Vanguard in a win at No. 7-ranked California Baptist in double overtime of the GSAC Tournament semifinals. The victory, Vanguard’s 12th of the season, propels the Lions into the GSAC Championship game.

Freshman ~ 5-11 ~ Goalkeeper ~ Whittier, Calif.
Goalkeeper Tiffany Kracy made 16 saves and only allowed 1 goal as No. 14-ranked Point Loma Nazarene won both of its GSAC tournament games. She turned back all 5 shots on goal in a 1-0 shutout against The Master’s in the first round. The freshman then stopped 11 shots on goal in a double-overtime semifinal contest at No. 3 Azusa Pacific. The match was decided by a shootout and Kracy stopped 2 Cougar attempts helping Point Loma advance to the tournament finals 3-1 on penalty kicks.
