Sophomore outside hitter Martina Gregusova registered 31 kills (5.1 k/g) with a .426 hitting percentage, 11 digs, an ace and a solo block as top-ranked Fresno Pacific swept both of its GSAC matches. In the Sunbirds’ victory at No. 2 Concordia, Gregusova totaled 25 kills for an impressive 8.3 kills per game with a .468 hitting percentage. In limited action, she had 6 kills in the Sunbirds’ win over Hope International. In a 5-game exhibition win against NCAA Division I Fresno State, she recorded 17 kills and 3 aces. (Exhibition stats not included for player of the week consideration). Gregusova was named the
NAIA Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week.

Sophomore ~ 5-4 ~ Forward ~ Newbury Park, Calif.
Sophomore forward Rachel Hook scored 6 goals for Concordia last week. She scored the Eagles’ lone goal in a tie at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical AZ. Hook then scored 5 goals in a school record 17-0 victory over Southwestern AZ.

Sophomore forward Joel Peluffo recorded his first career hat trick to lead The Master’s to a 5-0 victory over Point Loma Nazarene to open GSAC play. Peluffo leads the squad with 7 goals and is second with 16 points.

Sophomore ~ 5-9 ~ Goalkeeper ~ Bellevue, Wash.
Senior Emily Evanson posted her 19th career shutout, making 7 saves, in No. 1-ranked California Baptist’s 3-0 win at No. 2 Concordia OR, and 2 saves in a double-overtime scoreless tie with No. 10 Simon Fraser BC. The 19 shutouts sets a school career record. The Lancer defense has held opponents scoreless for 579 consecutive minutes. Evanson was selected as the
NAIA Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
