Junior Ashley Boyd was 14-for-29 (.483) at the plate last week as No. 2-ranked California Baptist won 7 of 8 games. For the week, Boyd had 12 runs, 2 doubles, a triple, 4 home runs, and 18 RBI. She drove in multiple runs in 5 of the 8 games she played. In the doubleheader sweep of North Dakota, she was 5-for-6 (.833) with 5 runs, a double, 2 homeruns, and 5 RBI. In 4 games in one day at the Tucson Invitational, Boyd hit 8-for-17 (.471), with 7 runs, a double, a triple, 2 homeruns, and 10 RBI.
