Junior Colleen Planeta has been selected as the GSAC Women’s Baskeball Player of the Week for the third time this season as she led No. 7-ranked Point Loma Nazarene to a pair of conference wins last week and extend its winning streak to 15 games in conference play, and 19 games overall. She averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 7.5 blocks, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals while shooting 18-for-34 (.529) from the field, including 2 made 3-pointers. At Concordia, Planeta scored 21 points, pulled down 7 rebounds, blocked 5 shots, and dished out 3 assists. Against No. 13-ranked Westmont, she posted the first triple-double in memory at Point Loma Nazarene, scoring 22 points with 10 rebounds and 10 blocked shots. Planeta leads the NAIA in scoring with 21.81 points per game and is in second place in blocks with 4.89 per game.
