The Lions bested the Gold Nuggets 5-2 despite dropping two doubles' points early. With the win, Vanguard adds another tally to its perfect 24-0 slate and maintains bragging rights as the nation's lone unbeaten team.

Playing in the 113th Annual Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament, No. 4-ranked Westmont Men's Tennis claimed the team title while winning both the singles and doubles championships of the Independent College Division. Rodrigo Schaefer won the all-Westmont championship match in the singles bracket, defeating teammate Josh Barnard 6-1, 6-0.
