The GSAC has 4 teams ranked in the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Preseason Poll, including 3 in the Top 10, the most by any NAIA conference. The 2011 GSAC Champion and NAIA Runner-up, Concordia is ranked No. 2, followed by Biola at No. 5, Vanguard at No. 10 and Westmont at No. 24.
