MICHELLE FRY ~ Christian Heritage College
Freshman ~ Forward ~ Danville, California
Last week freshman Michelle Fry recorded 5 goals and 2 assists as Christian Heritage won 2 of 4 games in their inaugural season of women's soccer. She scored 1 goal in every game with 2 in the win over Dominican. She is averaging 3 points per game. Fry was also chosen as the NAIA Region II Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

KARIN SULLIVAN ~ Westmont College
Sophomore ~ Forward ~ Scottsdale, Arizona
Karin Sullivan scored 5 goals as Westmont won 2 of 3 road games last week. Sullivan's hat trick against NCAA Div. I UC Santa Barbara sparked the Warriors to a 6-4 victory, just their second win ever against their crosstown rival . She then added 2 goals in the 4-0 win over Dominican. Sullivan did not play in Westmont's loss to Notre Dame de Namur.

Janel Kaden recorded her first career hat trick in Wesmont's 6-1 victory over The Master's last week. All 3 of her goals were scored in the first half. Kaden currently leads the Warriors with 15 points (6 goals and 3 assists). Kaden was named the NAIA Region II Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

HAYLEY SHORTRIDGE ~ Point Loma Nazarene University
Sophomore ~ Forward ~ Coeur d' Alene, Idaho
Hayley Shortridge scored 3 goals as Point Loma Nazarene won all 3 of its games last week. She scored a goal in the 3-1 win over Cal Lutheran. In the 3-1 win over Fresno Pacific Shortridge scored 2 goals. The Crusaders also defeated conference foe Hope International 3-0. Shortridge was also named the NAIA Region II Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

MELISSA STROTHER ~ Azusa Pacific University
Sophomore ~ Goalkeeper ~ Covina, California
Goalkeeper Melissa Strother recorded 7 saves and extended her shutout streak to 3 games as No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific beat both Biola and Westmont with scores of 2-0. The win against No. 6-ranked Westmont was the Warriors' first-ever shutout loss in GSAC play. With her play last week she lowered her GSAC-leading goals against average to 0.36. Strother was also named the NAIA Region II Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Junior ~ Goalkeeper ~ Lake Forest, California
Goalkeeper Jaclyn Maag recorded 6 saves and 2 shutouts as No. 7-ranked Westmont won both its GSAC games last week with 3-0 scores. Maag had 2 saves in the win at Vanguard and 4 saves in the victory against No. 19-ranked Cal Baptist. She currently has 7 shutouts. Maag was selected as the NAIA Region II Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Senior ~ Forward ~ Thousand Oaks, California
Chrissy Sanford recorded 4 goals and 1 assist as No. 1-ranked Azusa Pacific defeated both of its GSAC opponents last week to continue its 11-game win streak. In the win against Concordia, Sanford recorded her first hat trick of the season, the second in her career as a Cougar. In the victory at Fresno Pacific, Sanford had 1 goal and 1 assist. She was also named the NAIA Region II Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

Chrissy Sanford recorded 7 goals and 2 assists as No. 1-ranked Azusa Pacific shut out both of its GSAC opponents last week to extend its win streak to 13 games. In the win at The Master's, she had 2 goals and 1 assist. In the win against Christian Heritage, Sanford scored a GSAC-record 5 goals and assisted on another. Her 16 points for the week moved her into the lead in scoring in the GSAC. Sanford was also named the NAIA Women's Soccer Player of the Week.
