Teresa Kamps posted all-around stats as No. 25-ranked Fresno Pacific split its two GSAC games last week. She averaged 19 points, 13 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 1.5 assists. She was 13-for-26 (.500) from the field and 12-for-19 (.632) at the line. In the win over Biola, Kamps scored 25 points, pulled down 13 rebounds and stole the ball 5 times. In the loss at Vanguard, she recorded 13 points and again grabbed 13 rebounds.

January 6, 2002
ANNIE TAYLOR ~ Fresno Pacific University
6-2 ~ Senior ~ Center ~ Visalia, California

Annie Taylor averaged 18 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks as No. 25-ranked Fresno Pacific won both its GSAC games last week. For the week she shot 15-for-20 (.750) from the field and 6-for-13 (.462) at the line. In the win at No. 20-ranked Azusa Pacific, Taylor recorded 21 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks and 2 steals. The victory broke the Sunbirds' 6-game winless streak against the Cougars. In the win against Christian Heritage, she had 15 points, 4 rebounds and 3 blocks.

January 13, 2002
BECKY GIBB ~ Westmont College
5-10 ~ Sophomore ~ Guard/Forward ~ Highland Ranch, Colorado

Becky Gibb averaged 13.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 3.5 steals as Westmont won both its GSAC games last week. She recorded a different double-double in each game. She scored 7 of her 13 points in the final 2 and a half minutes of the Warriors' 77-74 victory over No. 22-ranked The Master's. She also dished out 10 assists, grabbed 8 rebounds and had 2 steals. In the win at Christian Heritage, she had 14 points, 15 rebounds, 5 steals and 3 assists. For the week, Gibb shot 12-for-17 (.706) from the field. Gibb was also chosen as the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

January 20, 2002
STEPHANIE PATTEN ~ Azusa Pacific University
5-11 ~ Senior ~ Forward ~ Placentia, California

Stephanie Patten averaged 23 points, 8 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1.5 steals and 1 assist per game as Azusa Pacific won both GSAC games last week and remains tied for first place in the conference. For the week, Patten shot 17-for-24 (.708) from the field and 12-for-15 (.800) at the line. In the win against California Baptist, she recorded a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 11-for-15 (.733) from the field. In the victory over Westmont, Patten scored 23 points, had 4 rebounds and 2 blocks.

5-9 ~ Sophomore ~ Guard/Forward ~ Brea, California

Katie Hardeman recorded back-to-back 20-point games as Westmont upset No. 14-ranked Fresno Pacific and won on the road at California Baptist. For the week, Hardeman shot 11-for-20 (.550) from the field and 18-for-24 (.750) at the line. She also grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out 6 assists and stole the ball 6 times. In the win against Fresno Pacific, she had 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. In the overtime win at California Baptist, Hardeman had 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.

KELLY BOEKE ~ Vanguard University
6-2 ~ Senior ~ Center ~ Fountain Valley, California

Kelly Boeke averaged 15.5 points and 8 rebounds as Vanguard won both of its GSAC games last week and moved into a third place tie in the conference standings. Boeke shot 9-for-14 (.643) from the field and 13-for-17 (.765) at the line. In the win against Concordia, she scored 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. In the victory at No. 18-ranked Westmont, Boeke had 13 points and 7 rebounds.

February 10, 2002
AINA KOHLER ~ Concordia University
6-1 ~ Senior ~ Forward ~ Lahaina, Hawaii

Aina Kohler scored 34 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, collected 4 steals, and had a blocked shot and an assist as Concordia defeated GSAC foe Westmont in its only game last week. Kohler shot 16-for-21 (.762) from the field, including 1-for-1 from 3-point range.

Stephanie Patten averaged 24 points and 8 rebounds as Azusa Pacific won both of its games last week and moved back into a tie with Fresno Pacific for first place in the GSAC. For the week, Patten shot 18-for-27 (.667) from the field and 12-for-15 (.800) at the line. In the win over Biola, she recorded 25 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. In the win against Concordia, Patten recorded her fifth double-double in the last 7 games with 23 points and 13 rebounds.

Allison Box scored 71 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 3 assists and collected a steal as Biola won both of it GSAC games last week. For the week, Box shot an impressive 24-for-31 (.774) from the field, including 9-for-13 (.692) from 3-point range, and shot 14-for-16 (.875) at the line. In the win against Hope International she had 23 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. In the win over The Master's, Box recorded 48 points and 5 rebounds while shooting 15-for-19 (.789) from the field, including 6-for-9 (.667) from the arc, and was 12-for-14 (.857) at the charity stripe. Box is currently leading the NAIA in 3-point shooting percentage.
