Senior ~ 2nd Base ~ Fontana, California
Jennie Waleszonia was 6-for-14 (.429) at the plate with a double, 2 triples, a home run, 3 RBI and 6 runs scored as Azusa Pacific won all 4 games last week.  In the doubleheader win against Dominican, she was 4-for-7 (.571) at the plate and hit a double and a triple.  In the wins against Hope International, Waleszonia had 2 hits, 1 a triple and the other a 3-run homer.  She currently leads the Cougars in double, triples and home runs.

Sophomore ~ Pitcher ~ Orange, California
Laura Miklos pitched a complete game shutout to earn one of Concordia's 5 wins last week.  In 7 innings she gave up only 2 hits and walked 3, while striking out a school-record 13 batters.

Senior ~ Shortstop ~ Visalia, California
Cheryl Bolding recorded 2 doubles, 3 triples, 6 RBI and 4 stolen bases while batting 11-for-26 (.423) as Point Loma Nazarene won all 6 of its games last week.  Defensively she had only 1 error in 27 attempts.

Senior ~ RHP ~ Vista, California
In 19 innings, Jamie Beaty did not give up a single run while earning 3 wins.  She gave up 9 hits and 2 walks while striking out 28 batters.  In the win at Redlands she gave up 1 hit and had 4 strikeouts in 5 innings.  In a win over No. 12-ranked Azusa Pacific, Beaty threw for 13 strikeouts in 7 innings.  In the win against Wisconsin-Eau Claire, she gave up 4 hits while striking out 11.

Sophomore ~ Outfielder ~ Salinas, California
Stacey Cureton was 12-for-23 (.522) at the plate with 6 runs, 4 steals and 1 RBI as The Master's won 5 out of 8 games last week.  In the second win against Cedarville OH, she was 4-for-4 at the plate.  In the split with Azusa Pacific, she was 3-for-5 (.600) at the plate with 2 walks.  In the win at Vanguard, Cureton scored 1 run and recorded an RBI.  In the split which handed Point Loma Nazarene its first conference loss of the season, she was 4-for-7 (.571) at the plate with 2 runs scored and a stolen base.

In 16 innings of work, Racheal Bermudez did not allow a run while picking up 2 wins to bring her season record to 12-2.  She gave up only 5 hits and 3 walks while striking out 16 batters.  Bermudez gave up only 1 hit and struck out 15 in the win against Luther IA.  In the win at No. 13-ranked Concordia, she gave up 4 hits and collected 7 strikeouts.  For the season, she has 132 strikeouts in 96 innings.

Junior ~ Shortstop ~ Riverside, California
Nicole Belair was 5-for-11 (.455) at the plate with 2 doubles, 1 home run and 8 RBI as the No. 25-ranked Mustangs won 3-of-4 conference games last week.  In the sweep of No. 13 Concordia, she provided the game-winning RBI in the second game with a 3-run homer. In the doubleheader split with Biola, Belair was 3-for-6 (.500) at the plate with 2 doubles and 4 RBI.  She again came up with the game-winning RBI in the 4-3 win against Biola.  Belair was selected as the NAIA Region II Softball Player of the Week.

RACHAEL BERMUDEZ ~ California Baptist University
Junior ~ RHP ~ Rialto, California
In 13 innings of work, Racheal Bermudez did not allow a run while picking up 2 wins. For the week, she gave up 6 hits and 7 walks while striking out 20 batters.  Bermudez gave up 5 hits and 1 walk and struck out 10 in the win against Biola.  In the win at Vanguard, she pitched a 1-hitter and again struck out 10 batters.  Bermudez has now pitched 30 innings without allowing a run and 37 straight innings without allowing an earned run.  Bermudez was chosen as the NAIA Region II Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Senior ~ 1st Base ~ Redding, California
Jessica Rapoza was 12-for-22 (.545) at the plate with 4 runs, 2 doubles, 1 home run and 10 RBI as Point Loma Nazarene won all 7 of its games last week and clinched the GSAC title.  In the doubleheader at Biola, she was 5-for-7 (.714) at the plate with a double and 3 RBI.  In the second game at UC San Diego, Rapoza hit her first home run of the season.  In the sweep of Vanguard, she was 5-for-10 (.500) with 2 runs, a double and 6 RBI.

KRISTINE FRANKS ~ Azusa Pacific University
Freshman ~ RHP ~ Glendale, California
Kristine Franks had a hand in all 4 of Azusa Pacific's wins last week.  She recorded a save in the win over Concordia and then picked up 3 straight wins to close out the week.  In her 17.1 innings for the week, she gave up 2 earned runs (0.82 ERA) and 9 hits, while striking out 18 batters.  In the first game of the doubleheader sweep of California Baptist, Franks pitched 5.1 innings of no-hit relief, striking out 8.

Freshman ~ 2nd Base ~ Moreno Valley, California
Priscilla Lopez was 9-for-18 (.500) at the plate as California Baptist won 5 of 6 GSAC games last week.  For the week, she had 1 double, 1 home run, 2 runs and 5 RBI.  In 3-out-of- wins against No. 14-ranked The Master's, Lopez was 6-for-10 (.600) with a double and an RBI.  In the doubleheader sweep of Hope International, she hit her first career home run and recorded 2 runs and 4 RBI.

Senior ~ RHP ~ Vista, California
Jamie Beaty went 3-1 in 4 starts against No. 19-ranked The Master's.  She had a 1-hit shutout in the second game of the first doubleheader, and then had back-to-back 2-hit shutouts just 2 days later.  She also posted 5 strikeouts in 3 innings against Hope International. For the week, Beaty
posted a 1.17 ERA and had 33 strikeouts in 30 innings of work, while giving up just 11 hits, 5 runs and 3 walks.

RACHEL ALKIRE~ Azusa Pacific University
Sophomore ~ Pitcher/Shortstop ~ Union City, California
Rachel Alkire was 4-for-7 (.571) at the plate with 4 runs, 2 home runs, and 7 RBI as Azusa Pacific swept Notre Dame de Namur in its only doubleheader of the week.  In the opening game, she hit a 2-out, 3-run homer.  In the second game, Alkire hit a walk-off grand slam in the 8th inning to give the Cougars a 6-2 victory.  She also pitched the first game and 1-hit the Argonauts over the 5 innings, striking out 3.  She currently leads the GSAC with 10 home runs.

LESLIE LUDLOW ~ Point Loma Nazarene University
Senior ~ RHP ~ Etiwanda, California
Leslie Ludlow earned 3 wins for No. 3-ranked Point Loma Nazarene last week.  In 20.1 innings of play, Ludlow gave up 5 earned runs (1.72 ERA) and allowed 7 walks, while striking out 15 batters.  In the win against Concordia, she gave up 4 earned runs and struck out 6.  In a complete-game 2-hit outing against Hope International, Ludlow did not allow a run while striking out 4.  In the first game at California Baptist, Ludlow gave up 1 earned run and 1 walk while striking out 5.
